Drumming in music lessons Music is an essential part of school life on Schwalbenweg - both in the everyday teaching of the individual classes and in cross-class working groups such as the school band or dance club, but also in performances at school celebrations and celebrations. Music is at the same time a principle, a means and an object of special needs education.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a consistent teaching principle, music plays an important role in the ritualization of the school day, e.g. when all classes sing together in the school morning circle every day. In addition, music serves as a structuring element in the daily routine and in the classroom, for example by singing greeting, farewell or themed songs for specific lesson content.<\/span><\/p>\n

Music is equally important as a means of promoting the whole personality. Music offers students a wide range of opportunities to develop social, emotional, sensorimotor, communicative and cognitive skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

Music as an object of special education encompasses three major fields of learning - making music (e.g. making music with the voice or instruments, chimes, sound effects), listening to music (e.g. getting to know different styles and pieces, listening to instruments) and implementing music (e.g. in dance, movement , scenic or pictorial representation). The aim is to show pupils opportunities to actively experience music in its various forms and to be able to use it for leisure activities.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
