Are you interested in a Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) or Federal Voluntary Service (BFD)?
We need help in many areas of our work and can therefore regularly offer places for an FSJ or BFD.
Your tasks as an FSJ or BFD volunteer include...
... the accompaniment and support of (severely disabled) pupils in everyday activities during the school day.
... provide assistance with eating, working and toileting or care (after an induction period!) as required.
... cooperation in everyday school and class life.
... to be part of one or more great class teams!
As a rule, you will be deployed as a class helper in one or more classes.
In individual cases, you can also complete your FSJ or BFD as an integration assistant. This involves providing particularly intensive support to a pupil in coping with everyday school life.
Before you decide to do an FSJ or BFD with us, sign up for a work shadowing programme. This will allow you to get to know possible work locations and colleagues and get a first impression!
You must be of legal age to do an FSJ or BFD.
If you are interested, please contact Tobias Schrage: t.schrage@157650.nrw.schule
He is the contact person for you FSJ and BFD students.
Recruitment and coordination for the FSJ or BFD are handled by the German Red Cross in Unna.
