Riding" is on the timetable every Monday for six pre-school children.

Then we take the school bus together to the St Hubertus riding club in Herne. There we meet the pony "Pauline" and the social pedagogue and riding therapist Nadine Kaisereck, who runs the programme.

Firstly, Pauline is greeted and groomed by us. Then she is prepared for the ride with a blanket and lungeing harness.

Finally off into the countryside. Everyone enjoys the nature and the peace and quiet and is happy to be carried on Pauline's back for a while.

Each child focuses on something different: communication with Pauline, their own body awareness or an increase in self-confidence - but a good feeling for everyone!
