Vorabinformation des Deutschen Wetterdienstes vom 11. Januar 2026

nissen“ vom 10. Oktober 2022 findet landesweit kein Unterricht in Präsenz am

12. Januar 2026 statt.

zeitig informieren

Mit freundlichem Gruß

Gez. Dr. Urban Mauer

Attention! Bomb disposal and protective evacuation in Herne today! For families in the affected area: If you have to pick up your child in advance, as the buses will probably not be able to make all stops. Please collect your child from school by 1.15 pm at the latest!

Here is today's warning from the city of Herne: During routine explorations for explosive ordnance another unexploded bomb was discovered in the vicinity of Landgrafenstraße. The 250-kilogram aerial bomb from the Second World War is to be defused later today, Tuesday, 5 September 2023. Other suspected points are also being investigated today. The evacuation measures in the restricted area are expected to start at 2 pm. A total of around 900 people are affected. The city of Herne is setting up a contact point in the sports hall, Im Sportpark 20, for people who do not know where else to go for the duration of the lockdown. The city of Herne is now operating a hotline on 0 23 23 / 16 - 93 20. Residents in the restricted area will also be informed of the evacuation measures by loudspeaker announcement. Defusing will begin as soon as the residents have left the restricted area. It is not possible to predict how long the defusing and thus the lockdown measures will last. People who have to leave their flats and houses should close all shutters if available. If possible, residents should take their pets with them. If this is not possible, the animals can remain in the flats. When leaving the building, all electronic devices and lights should be switched off and the doors locked. Gas and water connections should be closed and open fires extinguished. As it is not possible to predict how long the measures will take, those affected should be prepared not to be able to return to their homes for several hours. The city of Herne is also calling on everyone to help children, the elderly and people in need of assistance to leave the protection zone.

  2. Masks are compulsory on school buses, just like on public transport.
  3. On Wednesday you will receive 5 packaged rapid tests (nasal swab) to test your child once a week (i.e. for 5 weeks) on Monday or if you suspect that your child is infected. If the test is positive, your child will of course stay at home and you will inform us immediately.

Start of entry 01.04.2022

The last week of school before the Easter holidays begins on Monday, 4 April.

Classes will continue to end at 2.00 pm from Monday to Thursday and at 12.30 pm on Friday.

Even after the Easter holidays! (First day of school is 25.04.2022)

Masks will be compulsory at school from 02.04.22. The masks can be worn voluntarily! The risk of infection still exists! Please decide whether your child should continue to wear a mask at school. Who wants to be in quarantine or sick during the holidays?

So far, we have practised very good corona management at the school, which has led to very few infections among the pupils.

Kommen Ihre Kinder mit den „Öffis“ besteht dort weiterhin Maskenpflicht.

The obligation to wear masks in buses, taxis etc. will remain in place beyond 02.04.2022.

Extract from the Corona Protection Ordinance (in the version valid from 19 March 2022):

§ 3 Mask requirement

„(1) An folgenden Orten ist mindestens eine medizinische Maske (sogenannte OP-Maske) zu tragen: 1. in Fahrzeugen des öffentlichen Personennah- oder -fernverkehrs einschließlich der entgeltlichen oder geschäftsmäßigen Beförderung von Personen mit Kraftfahrzeugen samt Taxen und Schülerbeförderung sowie innerhalb anderer geschlossener Fahrzeuge (Bahnen, Schiffe, Flugzeuge und so weiter) …“

There is also a shortage of teachers/staff (due to long-term illnesses, employment bans and teachers and other staff in quarantine).

It may therefore be necessary to leave individual classes at home on alternate days!

Please refer to the following email for the current pandemic regulations until the Easter holidays:

Parents with two jobs or single working parents should contact the teachers by Friday if childcare is required. We will then see what is feasible. until 15:15 (except Friday!)

Their children are mostly doing well at the moment and we have few to no positive tests among the pupils.

From Monday, 21.03.2022 we have to cancel classes at least until Friday, 25.03.2022

shorten!

School starts normally, but ends every day at 12.30 pm (like Fridays). Your children are therefore home earlier and there is no lunch at the school. Parents with two jobs or single working parents should contact the teachers by tomorrow if childcare is required. We will then see what is feasible.

Their children are mostly doing well at the moment and we have few to no positive tests among the pupils.

However, I am missing almost half of my teaching staff this week and next week alone (due to long-term illnesses, employment bans and teachers and other staff in quarantine). So it's a state of emergency!

It may also be necessary to leave individual classes at home on alternate days!

To parents and guardians, pupils and staff, friends, cooperation partners, friends and supporters!

Only today an update, because the provider has changed his server and I could not access the homepage for days. Sorry for that!

I would like to remind you that Monday is a floating holiday (Rose Monday)! There is no school on 28.02.2022!

From Monday, new testing requirements at school and new rules for quarantine of infected persons and contact persons will also apply! You can find a link to brief and concise information here:

https://www.herne.de/Stadt-und-Leben/Informationen-zum-Coronavirus/Aktuelle-Regelungen-f%C3%BCr-Infizierte-und-Contact persons/

The good news is that our pupils will continue to be tested twice a week with a PCR lollipop test!

The fact that the individual results sometimes arrive very late requires me to make a decision at short notice.

You will be informed of this decision as soon as possible. The quickest way to do this is to use the Schoolfox app!

If you are not yet using the app: We will help you set it up and/or provide you with the licence and online set-up help! Get in touch with us!

To parents and guardians, pupils and staff, friends, cooperation partners, friends and supporters!

Welcome to the new year!

We will continue to cut back on lessons until further notice! It remains to be seen whether we will be able to go for at least one day in February 22.

So: continue with the same lesson times as this week!

The general confusion of test findings will continue for a while yet. For Thursday that means

If the pool = class is negative, then all pupils in the class can come the next day.

If I have no pool results for the classes, the classes must stay at home! Only negative pools = classes can come!

If there are positive pools = classes, but no individual findings, the whole class must stay at home.

If there are negative individual findings, these pupils can come back.

We can't do anything about it and we can't change anything!

We will try to keep you as well informed as possible!

Information on the test procedure in the last week of school before the Christmas holidays and the start of the optimised "Lolli test procedure" after the Christmas holidays

Dear parents,

Thanks to the excellent cooperation of all those involved, and therefore also thanks to your commitment, we were able to organise face-to-face lessons in the interests of your children until the end of the year. We would therefore like to thank you for your support at the end of the year.

Thanks to well-coordinated communication between laboratories, school and you, we have so far been able to provide all parties involved with the information on the transmission of results at the agreed times, so that in the event of a positive result, the children can return to school immediately while ensuring the greatest possible safety for the health of all pupils. Should there have been any delays due to the noticeably high workload at the laboratories or should this be the case in the future, we would ask for your understanding.

With the start on 10 January 2022, we are simplifying the Lolli test procedure to the effect that pupils will in future have to take a test in the morning in addition to the pool test.

individual sample to the school so that it can be analysed in the event of a conspicuous

pool test results can now be analysed directly by the laboratories. We have already informed you about this in connection with the school mail of 16 November 2021. In this way, you as a guardian will no longer have to submit an individual sample to the school in the event of a positive pool test. This will save your children a day of home isolation in the event of a positive pool result. In concrete terms, this means that all pupils whose individual sample has a negative result can return to school the next morning.

As the person with custody, you will be informed of the result directly by the laboratory on the basis of the registered student data.

For this purpose, it is urgently necessary that you have your school's Always keep contact details up to date and inform the school immediately of any changes.

Especially with regard to this adaptation of the test procedure in the first start-up phase, we would like to expressly ask you to refrain from making direct enquiries to the laboratories and, if necessary, to contact the school during this transitional period.

We would also like to draw your attention to the following adjustments to the test rhythm:

1st test cycle in the last week of school before the Christmas holidays

In the last week before the holidays, all children will take part in a pool test on 22 December 2021. This will ensure that your children can all go into the holidays with the greatest possible peace of mind. An overview of the adjusted testing schedule before the Christmas holidays can be found in the Education portal deposited. Until the Christmas holidays, the familiar procedure will still be practised. This means that in the event of a positive pool test, please bring your child's individual sample directly to school. If your child still has to hand in an individual sample to the school on the last day of school for the purpose of cancelling the pool, we would like to point out that this will be done at a later date. Single test result sent directly to you by the laboratory on the morning of the following day, 24 December 2021 is taken. You as parents then take the next steps in the event of a positive individual sample.

2nd test rhythm in the first week after the Christmas holidays

In order to ensure the safest possible start to school in the new year, all pupils should provide a pool and individual sample as part of the PCR lollipop test on Monday, 10 January 2022. Subsequently, the known and Education portal will be continued from the following Wednesday. We ask for your understanding that the increased testing volume at the laboratories may lead to delays in the transmission of pool and individual test results. Pupils who were in a positive pool and whose individual test result is not yet available will remain in so-called home isolation on Tuesday, 11 January 2021, until the result of the individual test is available.

You can also increase everyone's safety and your child's healthy return to school by making regular use of citizen testing during the Christmas holidays.

If you have any urgent questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We wish you a relaxing holiday season and a good start to the New Year. Yours sincerely, the school management

On our own behalf: You can select a translation language at the bottom right. You have to tell me whether this is helpful. 14 languages are now spoken in our school community. The translation is machine generated and will not always match. But that's better than not being able to read texts at all.

On Tuesday, September 7th, 2021, from 6 p.m., the class attendance will take place! Despite the corona measures (see below), I urge you to appear!

There is no school on Thursday, 09.09.2021! The teachers advise and work on school development.

Please note that the pupils and accompanying persons will attend the school enrollment ceremony on Thursday, August 19, 2021 GGG Have to obey the rules! You and your child either need:

Proof of full vaccination or

proof of recovery or

proof of a current rapid test!

You must also wear a medical mask in the building (FFP2 or "OP" mask)

As of July 2nd, 2021

To parents and legal guardians and our students

We wish you a relaxing holiday and a great summer! Everyone needs relaxation and, thanks to the loosened infection protection, they can once again pursue familiar and beloved everyday activities, hobbies and contacts.

After the holidays, we will probably start the school year “normally” if the low infection rates are maintained. But we can all contribute to this by acting responsibly!

At this point you can always inform yourself about the latest status! About a week before the first day of school in the new school year, all important information is published here.

Since the school is not always manned, you can always reach us in urgent cases via verwaltung@schule-am-schwalbenweg.herne.de

Please write as precisely as possible what your request is and give us, in addition to your sender email, other contact details (telephone number) at which we can reach you.

Stay / stay healthy!
